Volunteering for Seabirds Count

Successful completion of the last seabird census (Seabird 2000) would not have been possible without the support and hard work of over 1000 voluntary surveyors. With nearly 12,000 known seabird breeding sites in Britain and Ireland, the input from local volunteer surveyors will once again be integral to achieving a full census. Any volunteer involvement, whether it be identifying a new site, counting a colony or coordinating volunteer efforts will be hugely important.

If you would like to volunteer as a surveyor or regional coordinator, please send your name, contact information and the area you wish to help in to:
